Introduction

Make a paper craft ambulance with blinking lights powered by a Crazy Circuits Blink/Fade Board.

  1. Print out the template on heavy cardstock.
    • Print out the template on heavy cardstock.

    • Cut out the ambulance using scissors or an X-ACTO knife.

  2. Use a safety pin to poke holes in the front where the LEDs legs will go. Insert the LED legs through the holes, with the positive legs both towards the center.

    • Bend the legs over as indicated on the back of the ambulance.

  3. Tape down the LED legs to hold them in place.

    • Add the Blink/Fade Board to the center of the circuit.

    • Use some tape (masking, clear, etc. as long as it is non-conductive) to hold the Blink/Fade Board in place.

    • Add the tape as shown.

    • Add the battery, with a tape loop beneath it to hold it in place.

    • When your circuit is complete, the red and blue LEDs should blink alternately!
