Introduction

Create your own mini Rockin' Amp that moves around and blinks! Download either the blank or decorated version of this template, cut it out, and add electronics. While this amp won't go to eleven, it'll still bring the noise.

  1. Print out the template of your choice.
    • Print out the template of your choice.

    • Cut out the template and score the parts that need to fold.

    • Don't forget the cut out the key for the slit switch! It will allow you to turn on your Rockin' Amp.

  2. Follow the circuit printed on the paper as you build. It will show the placement of the motor, battery, and LED.

    • Make sure the LED has the longer leg going towards positive and the shorter leg going towards negative.

    • You'll need to insert the tape into the slit so it folds over on the outside of the Rockin' Amp. (This is what allows our switch to work.)

  3. Once you have your circuit built you can fold it together.

    • To turn on your Rockin' Amp just insert the key into the slot in the back. It will complete the circuit and your amp should start rockin'!
